The HOA Board has created a Facebook page for our community as a way for everyone to communicate with each other. The board met this month and agreed to change the frequency of the board meetings from monthly to bi-monthly (every other month) on the even months of the year. The next board meeting will be on Tuesday, June 5, 2012. Homeowners can always contact the board at any time if they have any concerns or questions.

 

Hooray!! The city has installed a double left turn lane for traffic turning from northbound Voyager to westbound Northgate. This will help with traffic congestion at this interesection when there are backups and accidents on I-25N. Be aware that the light timing has been changed to make this left turn a protected arrow which will reduce the green bulb time for southbound traffic leaving our neighborhood, however it should dramatically increase the safety by keeping the left hand turning drivers out of the intersection.

 

This is a friendly reminder to always remember to secure your homes and vehicles, close garage doors, use exterior and interior lighting, set alarm systems, and be on the lookout for suspicious behavior. By doing this you will help keep our neighborhood safe! Any suspicious behavior should be reported immediately to the Colorado Springs Police Deparrment (CSPD) at 719-444-7000.

 

Our neighborhood trash provider, Bestway Disposal, is handling curbside recycling accounts for our homeowners on an individual basis. Cost for this service will remain the same $60/year. If you already have recycling with Bestway Disposal and want to continue you don't need to do anything. Otherwise, contact Bestway Disposal directly for details about how to stop or start service.

 

The city recently painted the crosswalks at the main entrance at Northgate and Voyager. In addition, there are various markings throughout the neighborhood where street repair is needed.
